The time rescuers have to rescue you and your passengers is critical, and anything you can do to help the dedicated professionals find you quickly, must be used to everyone's advantage. The rescuers put their lives on the line, so give them all the help you can.


If you are in a sinking boat, time is precious. Usually the time you have is so short, that decisions affecting the survival of you and your passengers, must be almost automatic, i.e. grab the StayAlive life jacket and put it on.   • Patented panel system incorporates a non-slip holding and adjusting system that can be custom fit to your federal and local equipment carriage requirements.
  • Panel flaps use Velcro closure for instant and easy access into panel system if an emergency should occur.
  • Panel covers contain additional buoyancy foam giving the vest a total of 15.5 lbs of lift (buoyancy).
  • Floating International Distress Flag contained in collar and can be deployed with one pull. When in the water, the flag floats behind the wearer, creating a large target for search and rescue.
  • This visual aid is three times larger that the vest alone.
  • The flag is also detachable and can be tied to a paddle, gaffe, or fishing pole and used as a distress signal to passing boaters.
  • Four true-fit side adjustment straps, two on either side allow the wearer to custom fit to his or her size, allowing for maximum comfort and fit.
  • Panel adjustment system can be detached from the device, flipped over and used as a manualpropelling device, by placing your hand in the shock cord opening as depicted - i.e. hand panels.
  • 1.5 inch Heavy Duty waist belt secures the panels and vest on the user, and will not dig into the skin.

ACCESSORIES
 
The safety strobe is another very unique piece of safety equipment. The light was developed by the same company that put LED bulbs in kids shoes to increase their visibility at night.


The Safety Strobe can be completely submerged while in the operation mode. The light is activated when wet, but will deactivate when it is dry. This allows it to be used more than once and is operational for more than 36 hours, ensuring long lasting operation. The light bulb is LED which is much brighter than the standard light bulb. The diamond cut lens enables the wearer to increase their visibility by refracting the light in many different directions.


Other uses for the Safety Strobe would be to keep it in your vehicle. If an emergency should happen at night, in the rain, you can attach the safety strobe to your clothing. The light is sensitive enough that the rain will activate the light, increasing your visibility at the road side. When finished, dry the light off and store it back in your vehicle for the next time it is needed. The StayAlive Safety Strobe is also kept onboard recreational aircraft. The pilots take safety seriously and this is an added safety feature. Actually, any outdoor activity can use the Safety Strobe.
