| When the boats are hauled out of the water, it is then time to cover them for their long winter sleep. Using tarps or canvas covers will not do the job, because they allow damaging ultraviolet rays to penetrate through to the boats fiberglass gel-coat surface. This causes chalking, bleaching of wood surfaces, and fading of the boat's seats and interior. |

This will also prevent water from pooling and protect the boats gel-coat finish. It's no secret that boats left exposed to harsh weather will eventually deteriorate. With shrinkwrap, boats are protected against rain, snow, wind, dirt, sun fading, vandals, birds, insects and rodents.
